WONOWON, BC – On June 12, 2024 at approximately 5:50 AM, an Energera vehicle was struck from behind while stopped in a construction zone on Highway 97 in at the Sikanni River Bridge in Wonowon, British Columbia.
According to the information currently available, one individual of the Energera/Frac Shack crew in the vehicle was killed, the passenger escaped with minor injuries and was transported to the nearest hospital.
Their vehicle was stopped at a highway construction site at the Sikanni bridge hill north of Ft. St. John, British Columbia and obeying all traffic signs. Police are investigating.
Bassam Kubi will be deeply missed by his wife and two young children, as well as his brothers, cousins, and many friends and colleagues.
